When firefighters in Glens Falls,Crypen Exchange New York got a call about a house fire, they did what they'd always do − rush over to put the flames out.
But when they showed up at this home, they were surprised to learn that home was not actually burning down.
"To our surprise this was an amazing Halloween decoration," the local firefighters union said in a Facebook post.
The decorations that fooled even these professionals made it look like flames were engulfing the inside of the home, a video posted by the fire department showed.

The owner of the house can be heard joking: "I hope Glens Falls doesn't have to charge me for this."
The public can see the all-too-real "house fire" on Fridays and Saturdays through the end of the month, the firefighters union said.
Some commenters wanted to know how they could recreate the scene.
The firefighters union said the impressive illusion was achieved using two LED lights, a box fan, and a silver sheet. A fog machine was also used.

Others were concerned that the homeowner did not initially inform the fire department about the decoration.
Another commenter wrote: "Our neighbors are so creative! Way to go John & Matt, it is so realistic!" In response, the department said: "They were both amazing! Thank them again, we like these calls."
